Complete University Guide 2019

According to the Complete University Guide 2019, Cambridge is ranked No. 1 in the UK, followed by Oxford in 2nd place, London School of Economics in 3rd place, Imperial College London in 4th place, and St Andrews in 5th place.

Loughborough University moved up to 7th in The UK Complete University Guide 2019, remaining the top ranked university in the East Midlands. This is the third year Loughborough has been in the top ten of the guide.

The University of Bristol is ranked 15th in the Complete University Guide, a rise of two places this year. In addition, 21 out of Bristol’s 39 subjects are ranked in the top 10 for their discipline, with General Engineering (called Engineering Design at Bristol) ranked 1st in the country. According to the survey, Bristol has the highest scores for research intensity, good honours and degree completion in the South West region, and also the best student-staff ratio.

Swansea University is ranked 39th in the overall 2019 Complete University League Tables. It remains the top university in Wales for graduate prospects, ranked 18th in the UK with 82.2% of its graduates securing graduate level employment or pursing further study. In addition, Swansea features in 37 subject tables with over half (21) of these subjects improving their rank. Seven subjects are ranked in the top 10 of their respective subject tables, with a further seven featured in the top 20.
